Hey, what's up gigging pros! It's Jared Judge. Welcome to another episode of The Gigging Musician Podcast.

I'm actually recording this episode because I just recorded an entire episode and realized that I'd never hit the record button on my phone. So you're hearing this episode for the first time, even though it's not the first time I've actually said these words.

I'm hopping on here with a very excited thing, which is that one of my Fulltime Music Academy students implemented the Facebook ad strategy that I shared with our students.

And he implemented it a couple days. And he has already generated a bunch of leads, he showed us inside his Facebook Ads Manager. And, you know, we saw his ad set up, and we saw the actual results.

And he got a bunch of leads. And the crazy part is that they are cheaper than the leads that I have been getting for my own act on Facebook. So I'm very impressed. He's actually doing better than me at this strategy.

But I'm very proud of him. Like I'm, I'm not jealous, I want those results. But like, I'm very happy that he's getting those results. Because I that's kind of why I do this is because I am your biggest cheerleader, your biggest fan.

And I'm my goal is to help you guys do better than me, I think that's a good goal for a teacher to have. So he demonstrated some of the principles that I chatted about on last episode, which was all about taking action.

He had tried Facebook ads in the past for his act. And he said that they have all failed. I'm not sure exactly how they felt, maybe he didn't generate any leads. Or maybe he didn't close any of the leads that he got.

But he's a this is the first time that Facebook ads have actually worked for him. And it's because even though he may have been very skeptical, he has gotten burned by Facebook ads in the past.

And for some people just because they've gotten burned in the past by something that would be a reason why they wouldn't try it again in the future.

However, he did not move forward in fear, he moved forward in faith, and took the action of trying Facebook ads, again, using the new strategy that I taught him in Fulltime Music Academy.

And he put together his ad uploaded the video of his performance into the Facebook Ads Manager, and then launched the campaign. And then based on what we did together, he got leads in his inbox.

So even if you're skeptical about things in the past, don't necessarily let that deter you from trying again. But obviously try try a different strategy, maybe try a different teacher, eventually you will find the strategy that works.

If you take continual action, because the worst case scenario is, even if something doesn't work for you, you still will learn a valuable lesson.

And I don't know about you, but like, I spent five years and undergrad spending hundreds of 1000s of dollars to learn the lessons. And so you know, spending a couple bucks on Facebook ads to learn a lesson to me, that's a great deal.

Same for like, you know, joining Fulltime Music Academy, you spend some money, sure. But you learn some lessons.

And, you know, I'd rather learn lessons from people who are in the game doing the things that they are preaching, rather than just kind of learning from generic business people who will teach you how to run Facebook ads, but they'll teach it to you with the perspective of they'll teach you how to sell a product on your eCommerce store.

But I don't sell makeup. I don't sell books or things. I actually do sell a book but that's a different thing. I sell my own live musical performances.

And to me that you want to learn from people who are actually doing the thing that they're teaching. So that's kind of my lesson today. A big celebration for Daniel in Orlando. I'm very proud of you. Keep going and to everyone else.

Give it a try and report back your results. I'd love to hear from you. So thanks for tuning in to another episode of The gigging musician podcast. By the way, you can get a free trial of Fulltime Music Academy.
